Starcounter 3.0 Alpha PreviewJuly 4, 2019 3:59 pm
Today we announce a public preview of Starcounter 3.0.0.
Starcounter 3.0.0 integrates with Microsoft .NET Core 3.0.0 under Linux and Windows. All kinds of .NET Core applications are supported:
- Web applications hosted by Kestrel,
- Console applications,
- Desktop applications.
Starcounter works well with native .NET Core development tools, such as Visual Studio 2019, Visual Studio Code, and raw CLI. This includes, but not limits to, debugging and performance profiling.

Please post all issues related to Starcounter 3.0 on https://github.com/Starcounter/Home. It would be very supportive if you post your questions about Starcounter on https://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/starcounter.
This preview ships essential database functionality: ACID snapshot-isolated transactions on database objects though C# code on .NET Core with accessing data through SQL and LINQ. We plan to ship Palindrom MVVM support for the release later this year.
Thanks for testing us, and stay tuned for the updates!
